Easy peanut butter cookies

Ingredients

  • 180g unsweetened peanut butter
  • 200g almond flour
  • 1 large egg

How to make baby peanut butter cookies

  1. Put the oven to preheat to 180ºC.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients: the creamy peanut butter, the almonds and the egg, until you have a homogeneous mass.
  3. Line the baking tray with a sheet of baking paper. She scoops up portions of the dough with a tablespoon and rolls them into balls with her hands. The dough is somewhat sticky so if you prefer not to get dirty you can try to make the balls by shaping them with 2 spoons.
  4. Place the balls on the baking tray. With a fork, flatten the ball and then press the fork again in the opposite direction. This is how we get the cookie shape with the crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until you see that they are golden. Take them out of the oven and leave them on the tray until they have cooled.
  6. And these simple cookies are already prepared for the whole family to enjoy!

Tricks and tips

  • Cook these cookies when your baby is teething. Chewing on harder foods will relieve sore gums.
  • If your baby is over 1 year old, let him help you mix the ingredients. You’ll have to clean twice as much when you’re done, but he’ll have a great time.
  • If you want them to be a tad sweet, you can replace the almond flour with the same amount of coconut flour. Even for a special occasion you can make them with the traditional recipe and replace the almond with 200g of sugar.
