Ingredients
- 1 kg peeled shrimp 21-25
- 1 mango 800g Approx
- 1 piece onion
- 1 lemon, the juice
- 2 tbsp chili chipolte
- 2 habanero peppers without seed (to taste)
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/8 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup white or apple or balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
- c / n olive oil
Lets go cook
We wash, peel and cut the mangoes
Chop the onion and the habaneros, in a saucepan add olive oil without turning on the fire yet, add the onion, the habanero and the chipotle, light and fry until the onion is crisp.
Add the mango, sugar, ginger, 1/8 tsp garlic powder and salt to taste (1/2 tsp) and ground pepper. Let it season for approx 1 min
Add the tbsp of mustard, lemon juice and vinegar and the cup of water mix and let it boil over medium heat for about 6 min (if you want it thicker, leave it longer or if you want it more liquid for less time)
We take to the blender until it is perfectly blended
Ready to use as a snack, or for various stews such as shrimp, fish, chicken meat etc.
Sauté the shrimp in 2 tbsp olive oil
We bathe the shrimp with the sauce and decorate with pieces of mango and chopped chives
