1. The first thing we must do is clean the chard and chop it, peel and cut the potatoes into similar pieces, neither too small nor too large so that everything cooks at the same time.
2. Then, heat a pot with water and, when it starts to boil, place the steamer and add the chard, the potatoes, the peeled and minced garlic clove, as well as the peeled and julienned onion. Both garlic and onion are optional ingredients to give more flavor to the recipe for chard with steamed potatoes.
3. Cover and cook the chard with steamed potatoes for approximately 20-30 minutes over medium heat. Depending on the size of the potatoes, the quantity and the cooking point that we like, it may take more or less, so we will check the cooking. In addition, we splash to taste.
