Veggie-loaded spaghetti bolognese

INGREDIENTS

  • 375g spaghetti
  • 500g Coles Australian Beef & Pork Bolognese Mince
  • 3 cups (420g) Coles Frozen Mixed Vegetables, thawed
  • 500g Coles Mum’s Sause Bolognese
  • Basil leaves, to serve

METHOD

  • Step 1
    Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, heat a large greased frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the mince and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up any lumps, for 5 mins or until the mince changes colour.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the vegetables and pasta sauce. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, covered, for 5 mins or until the mince is cooked and mixture is heated through. Season.
  • Step 4
    Divide the pasta among serving bowls. Top with mince mixture and basil leaves
